As part of Paris Design week, the Nordic cultural institutes/embassies have organised a joint venture called Atomne Nordique, where Finland will be represented by Riitta at a Pecha Kucha night on the 12th September. Karoline joins in from Norway shortly after for the first French chapter of Eyes as Big as Plates, with Iceland and The Faroe Islands scheduled for October and November.

Recess Session in Redhook is hosting a generous two month residency of 'Eyes as Big as Plates- New York' in February and March 2013. Finer details to follow.

Equally exciting, I have been selected to participate in a residency with SPARC (Seniors Partnering with Artists Citywide) in Manhattan through Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) from January through June 2013. I will be joining forces with the City Hall Senior Center in Manhattan with Alison Kuo, Yue Lin and Karoline Hjorth amongst others.

This amazing skill landed me the role of Fran in a film by George Wu (click on the polaroid to view the film). Fran is, like most ladies, very excited about a special evening. But unlike most ladies she has a unique ability to help her prepare in double quick time, much to the annoyance of her neighbours. Accordion was screened in December at the BFI Southbank as part of onedotzero New British Talent selection.
